MEDIATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Family Law Mediation. Patricia T. Brennan has mediated more than 350 family law cases. She received her
initial 40-hour Divorce Mediation training in April 1997. Since then, she has completed more than 160 hours of Advanced Mediation Training. She has also presented Advanced Mediation training to other mediators and
has been a frequent lecturer on mediation to lawyers, law students, psychologists and social workers.
Orphans' Court Mediation. Patricia T. Brennan is a
mediator in a pilot program in the Chester County Court which offers mediation to families involved in disputes over distribution of the estate of a deceased family member, guardianship of an older relative or
conflicts between children of one marriage and the surviving spouse of a later marriage. Patricia was invited to help create this program by the Administrative Judge of the Orphans' Court because she is the only
lawyer/mediator in Chester County who practices both family law and probate and estate law.
